The sun's setting earlier and earlier each day--and conversely, my to-do list is getting longer and longer each day--so it must really be the end of summer soon. Sigh!

ReplyDeleteI have a busy weekend ahead, but I'm really looking forward to it! I'm making pizza dough and peach/rhubarb pie for dinner with friends tonight; tomorrow I'm going to the renaissance festival with some friends, then a birthday party (which I'm making the cake for now); and Sunday a friend from where I worked this summer is coming to visit... Which will probably involve me making food more again :P

I need to clean the house too, but I'm procrastinating. Instead, we're going to the mountains (hopefully) if the weather cooperates :).

ReplyDeleteI should be working, but instead I'm perusing the internets until it's an acceptable time to go to bed. 9:30 seems acceptable if you are getting up at 5, right? :) Tomorrow: work work work, but then hour and half massage! BIG WIN! Sunday: church, naps, bike ride on our beach cruisers.

had a bday dinner with my grandma for her 79 at balthazar. food was ok, ambience is great, but not worth the price tag. had profiteroles, they were divine. my aunt was also visiting from shanghai and met my boyfriend for the first time. we drank way to much champagne and rose. my head is pounding now, i ate two warm chocolate croissants for breakfast and finishing my third cup of tea. now i do nothing for the next two days :)
